Duplicating Database

Postby WLAS 90.7 » Thu Oct 30, 2008 5:56 pm

Hi all-
Not sure if this is covered elsewhere, BUT, what files need to be copied if I want to set-up a second PC with the same music, segments, etc as my initial PC. Can I just move the database and the mp3's? Will this save me having to re-enter everything in Audio Manager?

Thanks,

- Install MS Windows XP or Vista on new computer
- Connect current computer and new computer
- Install DRS2006 v2.11 (XP) or 2.2 (Vista) on new computer (download) using the link, username and password provided by DRS2006 Sales.
- Install your license key provided by DRS2006 Sales
- Optional : install DRS2006 V3 Beta's from DRS2006 website
- Copy your complete Digitaldata folder from current computer to new computer. Place all files in the Digitaldata folder.
- Copy your music files (e.g. MP3, WAV) from current computer to new computer. Use the same folders.
- In the Adminsitration Kit connect the Database to the right folders (see Manuals for help) This is different for version 2.11, 2.2 and version 3 beta's!

This should do the trick!
