My playlist, workspace and saved categories have all gone with this latest beta
Database won't save an intro either
Is that meant?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> Comment from Mark:
We changed the location of the database in last beta. I can't verify the Intro? Can you be more accurate what you are doing?

Hi all,

Just launched the program, without adding any song (empty songs folder).
Went to database/Edit Database/Play -> Crash.
I know.. Why would you do this?.. People will :)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> Comment from Mark:
Hehe, ok. We will check and correct this. You are right. Never tried it.

When I push the talk button, we have no more music, Yet he stands at 50%

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> Comment from Mark:
I guess you have the "mute monitor" option on in the Settings > Talking System

This is only the monitor. So what you hear on our PC. We will still broadcast it. We do this to prevent acoustic feedbacks while your mic is on :)

Ok Marc It Works tanks

Mark thank you for your feedback on the license issue. Here at our station, all license info is strictly controlled by our IT staff, and no unauthorized instances are tolerated. But I also understand how this would not always be the case. And you are right, you do go the extra mile with your product, and making things affordable. I would fully embrace paying for multiple instances, especially like you possibly suggested - $99 for primary instance and $69 for supplemental instances. We usually have an instance in each studio, also our Technical Operations Central and at our Transmitter. TOC and Transmitter instances are fall back instances our system will switch to in case of failure of the audio stream elsewhere in the system. BUT YES, under what you suggest, we would be willing to pay for each instance under a multiple instance rate like you suggest, as I see that as more than fair !

Thanks Mark for your feedback, and being willing to consider situations like this !

Am I the only one that can't save a playlist?
I think this was something that worked before.
Other question, on the main screen there is next to the same save and delete playlist buttons a white selection screen. What is this for?

Kris

The selection box is where you type the name you want to save your playlist as, you can then save it.

When you want to load a playlist you select it from the same box

Do we get weekend betas or do we have to wait until Monday? :-(

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> Comment from Mark:
Well I have to play with my daughter a little, but I am sure Holger fix a few things which I will release as soon as it makes sense. The list is pretty long :)

George: I know the feeling. I have an 11 month old daughter. The excitement is def back though :D

Mark: Yes, for us as well. Thank you for all your support! :)
My daughter is 5 which means a lot of time. But hey, who needs sleep if there is coffee...

Just a thought:
When i added 1200+ items, DRS was like freezing (not responding). Maybe a popup message like " Please wait, database is being updated" would let people understand the soft isn't frozen.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> Comment from Mark:
You should see that the database is updating below in the statusbar. However it might also be a good idea to have a popup.

I'd like an option to delete column from the playlist screen. It's fine seeing most of these in the database manager, but i reckon we'd only need title, artist, intro cue out time and how the sing ends (plus start/stop song marker if adding that in)

Other people might need album or year but being able to select the columns we need, well this would enable us to make the title/artist column bigger to fit in when much longer titles or songs with many artists. Hope that makes sense

Should now be possible

Mark,

isn't there a way to convert the old DRS database to the new version?
Even if we loose some info it might save us big time (cue in out .... pfff).

Hallo Marc,

When I go to edit database and let him Cue Point Out let go and then return to the Playlist screen radio, I can do no more no start, stop, Talk, etc. ....
is that normal???

when and how I go right to the list above and click on best fit (all columns) closes the program themselves

Eddy

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> Comment from Mark:
- No! Can you exactly tell me how we can reproduce this problem?
- best fit may take a short while

Hi,

About editing cue points manually:
- It's easy to manipulate the cue bars, but it's not so accurate to me. Having the possibilty to edit the cue points time using the keyboard (write the numbers) would be great.
Maybe some keyboards shortcuts would help as well to listen the settings: for example, SHIFT+SPACEBAR = Play from CUE IN. Another one for PLAY FROM CUE OUT.
Or maybe i missed something?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> Comment from Mark:
Yes, we fixed this in the playlist. Here you can use the mouse wheel. We will also fix this in the database editor

ok Marc
First the software has shutdown, then boot back can I change the settings

thank you

Hi Mark,

The security setting for C:\ProgramData\DRS2006V4 have not been changed, the files still can't be modified by normal users. This affects the database, carts, and playlists (if left in default location), and it also effects the activation data.

Without this change in permissions, when DRS is run as a standard user, the program can not read the activation information and will not run!

Yes, is still listed...Coming.
