Help me understand streaming pricing

Postby Evereddie » Tue Sep 07, 2004 5:49 pm

Help me understand pricing for streaming. If I buy a 12kbps package and 1 listener stays on for 24 hours a day all month long, how much wil that cost U.S. Would that be the same for 2 listeners only on 12 hours a day each.
Thank you for any help

You're really buying "x" number of maximum concurrent listeners. If you purchased 20 maximum concurrent listeners at 24kbps you would be charged $11.00 per month. This applies whether you have 0 or 20 listeners at any one time.

Have you checked the pricing at www. radiostreamer.com? If you click the "place an order" button you can tinker with various bitrate/listener combinations and it will show you the price.
