Title Streaming Issue

Can someone tell me why my Radiostreamer titles have DRS2006 at the beginning of the station name, song title and how do I get rid of this ?

I have been testing my own shoutcast server for 4 months and didn't have this problem so I can only assume my DRS encoder is configured properly. Is this some thing that is being inserted by Radio Streamer ?

yes, login to your control panel and play with the streaming codes on ur server. you'll see where it says DRS2006. take it out and you'll be fine.

By the way, the Control Panel that LT mentioned refers to the Radio Streamer 'Customer Interface'. You can change the stream title in the 'Configuration' section.

Well I thought I did that. I saw that field and I edited it and that didn't change. Then I unchecked that box and still no diff.

Hey LT, I've sent a reply to your ticket, take a look.

Well I thought I did that. I saw that field and I edited it and that didn't change. Then I unchecked that box and still no diff.

LeeL, in the configuration section, that small little box next to the 'Stream Title' column, if that box is checked, it forces the title eneterd to show even when the source (encoder) has a different title.

After any change has been done, click on the 'Save Configuration' button, return to the 'Status' page to restart the server by clicking on the commands 'Off' then click back 'On'.

Actually, that feature isn't available just as yet, still working on it.
