Can I use aacPlus and MP3 at same time?

I want to run two streams:
One is 32 kbps aacPlus using Oban processor
Two is 24 kbps standard Mp3

Both should come from the output of DRS2006 Std running on a single computer.

Can I do this? How?

Some listeners will not have the latest updates of Wimamp and other players to hear the aacPlus stream. I'd like to have an option on my web page that lets them hear the standard stream. That stream would also show up on the Shoutcast listings.

I'm hoping this double broadcast is possible?

Hey Alex,

You'll need to run 2 encoders (OptiCodec and SHOUTcast DSP/DRS 2006 IB) simultaneously and also need 2 ports/servers. Both of your stream will be listed at

I am also streaming aac+, and Shoutcast won't show my feed in their directory. I suspect that it is because they are involved with mp3pro, and if you load the Thompson plugin for mp3pro, then you cannot listen to an aac+ feed - they are mutually exclusive. Very disappointing.
