Buffering Issues

Postby DerickAB » Wed Mar 01, 2006 8:18 pm

Lately I have been getting an error message on my encoder stream that reads," unable to send data fast enough buffer cleared". What does this message mean snd what can I do to fix it? When this happens my listeners get dissconnected and my radio signal gets interrupted.

Thanks for any input.

In our experience - this is generally caused by packet loss in the routing your stream takes to your streaming server.

If you have Pingplotter - try to ping your server - and come back with the results - it should show up the problem area.

Good luck
